Written in only 36 hours, this 60 pages long whitepaper is published on the Web. It is available under a CC license. It was published in German language in early July 2007 and gained quite a lot of interest and has been downloaded over 12,000 times. Even almost 2 years it is still #1 to #5 in the Google search results.

About the authors
  Bertram Gugel is a Business Consultant for companies in the Internet Video Area or such which want to extend their business into this area. He has studied Communications- and Media Science at the university of Leipzig. His thesis are about "The distribution monopoly end of TV". Since end of 2005 he is writing in his blog "Digitaler Film" about developments in audiovisual media on the Internet. This covers the various offerings in the video space on the web, recent developments as well as analyses about commercial aspects. After Axel Springer Digital TV GmbH he currently works for Deutsche Telekom AG.

From 2003 till 2008 he co-founded the
Medienplaner GmbH and acted as Managing Director.
     
  Harald Mueller is a serial entrepreneur in the web, (mobile) media, TV and IT-Software area. Beside some non executive adivsorships and some minor startup investments he acted as Head of New Media at scopas medien AG (www.d11b.tv). Before he acted as COO at myTV.de (www.myTV.de). Before myTV he has been SVP Business Development at Oplayo (www.oplayo.com) – a mobile video specialist, formerly owned by Nokia (www.nokia.com / www.brv.com), Siemens (www.siemens.com / www.smacpartners.com) and Zouk ventures (www.zouk.com) - acquired by Slice Wireless in April 2006, where Harald played a major handover role (www.slicewireless.com). Harald's core activities are around "streaming media", "Web-TV" and "Internet communities".
Harald is a co-founder of ISGweb (
www.isgweb.com), INeTV AG (www.inetv.de), beTVeen.com AG (www.beTVeen.com) and the IntelliVision Networks AG
(
www.intellivision.de + (www.streaming.de – domain sold to TV1)) and is also a co-founder and active organizer of MobileMonday Germany (www.mobile-monday.de).
